Kelsey A. Weber

BIO

Kelsey is a 2016 graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Arts in American History and Political Science, and an Associates Degree in American Studies. While in school, she served as Color Guard Captain for the WCU Golden Rams Marching Band. Kelsey subsequently attended Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2019. During her time at Drexel, Kelsey conducted pro bono work for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, and was elected as Vice President of the Women in Law Society.

CAREER

While in law school, Kelsey held a summer clerkship in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas where she drafted orders and memoranda on issues in family and criminal law for The Honorable Ann Marie Wheatcraft. Kelsey also held several internships throughout her time in school with small civil litigation firms in fields ranging from personal injury and insurance defense, to employment discrimination and sexual harrasment law. Additionally, she completed a co-op program at Wawa, Inc. in-house counsel, where she drafted memoranda on regulatory compliance and real estate law, and drafted contract amendments.

Following graduation from law school, Kelsey joined a large national firm in their workers’ compensation department. Kelsey focused her practice on all aspects of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law, including conducting and participating in the deposition of medical experts and fact witnesses, advising clients in preparation for litigation, and the presentation of matters before workers’ compensation judges, the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, and Commonwealth Court. She represented employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Kelsey joined MacMain Leinhauser in August of 2021.
