BIO

Brian is a 2005 graduate of Boston College, with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to attending Villanova University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2011, Brian worked in credit analysis and finance for several years. During law school, Brian clerked for a Montgomery County law firm, focusing his work on insurance defense and coverage analysis, and for an international renewable energy company, focusing on land use and development.

CAREER

After graduating from law school, Brian worked for a law firm in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, focusing his practice on insurance defense litigation, coverage analysis, and bad faith liability, represented insurers in first-party and third-party claim litigation, primarily relating to property damage and insurance bad faith claims.

Brian has since focused his practice on representing municipal entities and public officials in all facets of constitutional civil rights, labor and employment law matters, including civil rights claims brought pursuant to Section 1983, employment discrimination, harassment, wage and labor relations matters, RightToKnow requests and lawsuits involving the Political Subdivision Tort Claims Act. Brian’s litigation practice extends to claims in federal and state courts, before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and PHRC, and in federal and state appellate courts. Brian also represents and advises municipalities, housing agencies, and private entities in employment and labor matters, housing matters, and general litigation, while continuing to represent insurance carriers in coverage analysis and defense.

Brian joined MacMain Leinhauser in October of 2021.
