Matthew Connell Conducts Training for Supervisors on the Requirements and Perils of the Americans With Disabilities Act and Family Medical Leave Act
Matthew Connell conducted training for over 200 managers for a major municipality on the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family Medical Leave Act. Recognizing the perils facing employers for mismanagement of both the ADA and FMLA and its timing and notice requirements, this major municipality requested that Mr. Connell conduct the training to educate the supervisors on their duties and responsibilities as it pertains to these two critical federal statutes. Mr. Connell’s presentation focused on the legal foundation for each of these employment laws and educating the supervisors on how to recognize and respond to requests for reasonable accommodation under the ADA and requests for leave under the Family Medical Leave Act.
